Lauren Hill is a strategic communications professional with over a decade of creative experience in fostering relationships through writing, empathic engagement, content creation and organization, and social care. She began as Marketing Director with GMS in 2021 where she serves the communication, education, and promotional needs of our clients and staff.  A regional southcentral PA law firm, HR consulting firm, and  real estate settlement group also currently benefit from Lauren’s unique professional communications skillset.  

 

Prior to joining the GMS team, Lauren began her professional career at Shippensburg University.  The most valuable opportunities from her time at the 150-year-old PA State System institution include involvement with planning and executing large events such as Homecoming and Alumni Weekend, developing and recruiting for Shippensburg University's inaugural Doctoral programs, as well as opening and promoting the Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum at Shippensburg Station.

 

Fun Facts: When not designing, decorating, or otherwise creating something aesthetically pleasing, you can find Lauren exploring the great outdoors. From skiing in the winter, to camping and hiking in the fall and spring, nature is her happy place. Her husband, Corey, and their French Bulldog (read child), Toby, adventure with Lauren around their mountain home in Mercersburg, PA, and on longer treks including an annual UTV ride to the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System in southern WV. While Lauren may be earning her strategic communications graduate degree at Ship U, her undergraduate experience is from Penn State.  She still bleeds blue and white, you can bet she tunes in every Saturday for game day.
