About Marissa Price,
Client Manager
Marissa’s creative funding strategies are derived from her intuitive and analytical skills, which have become standard signatures to her work product. Her ability to translate complex subjects and data sets into easily-understood presentations has successfully advanced many projects on behalf of clients. Marissa supports the growing GMS client base by leveraging her years of consulting for both public and private sector clients in grant application and funding strategy development, research, compliance and analysis. GMS clients also benefit from Marissa’s strong branding and marketing skills, which directly lend themselves to the development of market assessments, revitalization strategies, public funding assistance for municipalities, and financial analyses to support public and private sector clients. Marissa is particularly well versed in the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program, walking clients through the process of applying for and drawing down funds, as well as serving as a State-appointed reviewer for the Office of the Budget.
Fun Facts: Marissa is the energy center of the GMS office. She requires no caffeine and her mere presence energizes the rest of the team. She regularly uses her colleagues as Guinea pigs for her newest macaron flavors and also derives great joy from her dog “Sassafras” and complicated excel formulas. A true renaissance woman.
